Emma Tomkinson

I am a professional member of the British Sport and Exercise Science Association (BASES) as well as being an accredited and chartered sport scientist (Psychology Support).

After completing my Masters in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology (2011), I continued to coach grass route programmes in my County, represented my Country and had opportunities to work in elite sporting environments (Paralympics – Rio and Tokyo) over the past decade. I have a wealth of knowledge across different environments which helps me to be adaptive and flexible to each of my clients needs.

I have always had a keen interest of how things work, and when it comes to the mind its a very powerful tool and there are a lot of ways that we can help it work for us.
Within sport and exercise environments people tend to spend a lot of time working on the practical, fitness and the technical aspects of what they are doing and often neglect the mental side of the game. Mental performance coaching enhances the mental skills required to push towards your potential and turn negative emotions and actions into strengths and create a positive and healthy wellbeing and holistic trainer.
